Well, That would be us!

Two gardeners stand by flowers with playful signs about plans and compost.

My Story and I'm sticking to it!

Who Made This Mess?

Hi, I’m Toni.
The chaos is usually mine. No apologies.

I planted a few flowers after a fire in hopes to bring life into what was ash.

Then I bought seeds. Lots of seeds. Ran out of room. Became weirdly interested in compost. Lost tools. Flooded the driveway. And discovered menopause makes gardening decisions at 2 a.m. seem completely reasonable.

Then there’s Paul.

Marriage taught us there’s my way, his way... and eventually my way again. 😂

Somewhere along the way, nature took over anyway. Plants showed up that I didn’t plant, birds rearranged things, and the wind apparently joined the landscaping committee.

That’s when I realized:

Oh. I thought this was MY garden. - Nope.

I basically water nature’s garden and see what happens.

And the Garden Companion + Extra Volumes?

I couldn’t remember a dag-gon thing, so I started writing it down.

Then I realized — I didn’t want YOU to forget either!

Your life and your garden have more than one book of stories to tell.

In 2026, those scribbles became something bigger: A way to remember our stories and share what we grow.

Besides... how are two people going to eat 100 lbs. of tomatoes?

Welcome to Did You Say Gardening?

Apparently, this is what we’re doing now. 🌻

Four women enjoy gardening and fresh produce in a backyard garden.

Grow Some. Keep Some. Share Some.

Our Back Yard is Ours. Your Back Yard is Yours. What we share is Community.

This whole thing started because I wanted to grow food and share some of it.

Simple enough. Um..no.

There were rules. There were regulations. There were things I could do, things I couldn't do, and things I was told I probably shouldn't do.

Well...

They really shouldn't have said that.

Now I needed to know why. Then...I asked God, "How?" He said, "What is in your hand?" I thought, "A garden. I have a garden." I felt a smile in my heart and then knew the "How."

One question turned into another. Before long, I had social media, a website, a legitimate business, companion journals for sale so on and so forth...

All because I wanted to share some tomatoes. 😂

And yes—Did You Say Gardening? is a business. We're here to make money. Because making money allows the business to keep growing, creating and sharing.

But community doesn't have to be complicated.

I'll clean out my neighbor's chicken coop, you know what I want. Somebody has eggs. Somebody else has tomatoes. Maybe you've got seeds, knowledge, an extra shovel—or a garden story that makes the rest of us feel better about our own decisions.

You do it your way. We'll do it ours.

Grow some. Keep some. Share some, but also... teach some.

Guess they told the wrong woman she couldn’t.🌻Because I know a Guy.😇

So, Here's the deal...This was done on "Purpose."

We are NOT the same!

From county to city to state, we are NOT the same.

My people. Your people. Their people. We live differently. We think differently. And what works in my community might completely flop in yours.

GOOD.

Because we do have something that unites us:

We want healthy, beautiful gardens — and we want to help other people live healthy, beautiful lives.

Do you see it now? Get what this is all about?!

Know your people!

Because that is where the magic happens.

What if all of us became one ginormous Think Tank?

You figure out what works with your people. I figure out what works with mine. Someone three states away figures out what works with theirs.

Then we share it.

We help each other figure out how to help others in ways they understand, trust, and feel comfortable being part of.

And then... haha... we get to brag about our gardens!

Wait a minute, visualize this...

But here's the bigger part:

This was never a singular vision.

This isn't just about Your Volume Series.

It's about YOU taking what you grow, what you learn, what works in your community, and passing it on.

Your garden goes beyond your fence.

Your story goes beyond you.

And suddenly a whole bunch of very different people are doing something together without having to be out there alone.

Welcome to the vision.

A whole lot of different people.
A whole lot of different gardens.
One ginormous Think Tank figuring out how to help our own communities — together.

But here's the thing... everyone who hears this wants to be apart of it. You're Invited!

Grow Some. Keep Some. Share some...and, "Did You Say Gardening?" 😂

What's our mission - purpose? With Proverbs 19:17 in mind, our hope is to be generous to those who need it. Every page is written with that purpose.
